WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

If Sunday morning is too hectic and you just don't have time for deeper theological reflection, there are two different small groups that meet during the week to study the Bible together and share in each other's journey.

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, a group meets in the library to read the Bible together and spend time in reflection and contemplation striving to hear a Word from God. The group read through the scriptures together, using the New King James, pausing whenever someone wishes to go deeper on a passage or ask a question. Anywhere from five to twenty chapters may be covered in an evening together. The group seeks to allow God's Word to speak directly to them, without filters or perspectives, allowing them to dwell solely with the words from the page.

On Thursday afternoons at 1:00 PM a group meets in the library to study a prepared lesson, prepared by one of the group who serves as teacher, and discuss their thoughts and ideas about where the scriptures are leading them.

Both groups are open and anyone is welcome to come join in study - bring your questions and ideas!
